The archaeological site

The Villa dei Pisoni, dating back to the 1st century BC, was originally owned by the noble Pisoni family. This villa was unwittingly involved in a plot against the Emperor Nero, which led to the confiscation of the entire property by the emperor. What you see today is what remains of this extraordinary summer residence.

The Villa features a large garden surrounded by a portico and corridors. You can admire the majesty of the Roman garden, with its columns and architectural structures that testify to the grandeur of the era. Along one side of the garden is the thermal complex, while on the other side you will find service rooms that led to the maritime part of the villa, where there were large tanks for breeding fish.

Today, the Villa dei Pisoni is part of the Archaeological Park of the Sunken City of Baia, and is one of the many wonders waiting to be discovered under the sea. Book your snorkeling excursion now and get ready to relive the grandeur of ancient Rome, submerged in the waters of Baia.

This experience is suitable for everyone, adults and children, with a difficulty classified as low. We are here to ensure that your adventure is safe and exciting, both diving and snorkeling.
